The plyometric push-up is a great twist on a traditional exercise that most athletes have done extensively. I like to cater my workouts to the specific skills that I use in football as much as I can, and this one I definitely feel translates to the field. I recommend starting out with pillars or risers that are much lower if you've never tried this exercise before. The risers work perfect for me because I can add them each week as I get stronger. I think I started with 4 or 5 risers when I started this exercise in February, so you may see gains quickly!
Take a look at the clip and be sure to ask questions if you have them in the Ask Kamau section. Good luck!
