From Tucker83:

Hey KP, Shoot man we had Montreal by the throats early on but couldn't gather up a killer instinct on next year. Ironic how the offense was our downfall these playoffs avergaing just 10 points between the two games on offense. If i'm getting the right feeling this team should be very similar next year personnel wise. At least I hope so. This team is damn good talent wise. Add a few pieces at select positions and I'll be sitting in the stands cheering you and boys on in the 09 Cup in Cowtown. What kind of read/vibe are you getting on this team for next year? Offense, defense and coaching wise? Enjoy the offseason. Tyler

Hey Tyler,

I agree, and I hope that the majority of this team returns next year. Our talent level was as good as anyone's in the league. I felt like going out east and playing on the road the way that we did strengthened us some. It seemed like a lot of our younger guys took the last loss very hard, and will use it as fuel during the off-season to keep it from happening again. Guys have already started emailing each other about off-season training which is unheard of this early in the year. Usually everyone goes home and recovers for a couple of months and then gradually spills out into the gyms and onto the tracks to start training. The fact that they're already getting things in order to start training now, tells me that they're hungry. I think we'll feed off of that hunger all off-season and it will benefit us next season.
