Hi Kamau: This isn't a question, just a note. First, I just wanted to congratulate you on being chosen Canadian Player Of The Month. I think you've really established yourself as one of the premiere receivers in the league...Cdn, or Imp. Nobody that witnessed that BC game is ever going to forget the catch you made, after getting absolutely hammered. Then lifting your jersey to reveal the 83 undershirt. Your latest blog was a great read. If the rest of the team commits to improving their game as much as you have...Eskimo Nation should be pretty damn happy with the results. We've spoken briefly a few times after games, or practices. I always try to let you know how well I think you've done, since becoming an Eskimo. You just seem to get better all the time. You epitomize what I believe to be the best qualities of great Eskimo players of the past, and present. The way you laid the football at the feet of the official after you laid out for that TD in Cgy, on Labour Day was awesome. You don't make it " about you. " 83 acts much the same way. Moments like that, and the way you guys played in the BC game at Commonwealth make me very proud to be an Eskimo fan. I'm taking my 18 yr old daughter to Mtl for the GC, as her HS grad present. Her and I were in Regina for the 03 win, and in Van for the 05 win...We both really feel that you guys have a real shot at being in Mtl too. No matter what though...You are having a great year, and I just want to wish you continued success down the stretch

I really appreciate the kind words. It's not a secret that my career has had it's ups and downs, so it's certainly nice to have found a home and a place where I feel that I fit in in Edmonton. From the beginning of my time here, I felt compelled to actualize my potential in this jersey not so much for my own purposes, but because I owe it to those that have come before me to represent them well. Hopefully I'll see you in MTL, I'm workin my butt off to get there!
