From Bob:
Congratulations on a fantastic and inspirational game…can you think of anyone who has generated more outpouring of support by caring fans and players, than Jason has? Reminds me of James Bell who came back from paralysis. Jason stands at least a chance of recovering his skills should he choose to do so. He is such an asset to the team…each player…yourself included after making an extremely unbelievable catch…must have thought about the question of would a comeback be possible? Nick Araki did it. Unfortunately, the injuries are not all alike. And receivers, as you know, are subjected to higher speed impact more than other positions(?). Given (generally) lighter build and the fact that velocity is squared in the energy equation, (E=1/2mv(squared)…more speed makes a much greater difference in terms of the energy at impact. Vertebrae are amongst the hardest bones in the body so fractures require a lot of force. I was wondering if spinal injuries have been more associated with speed and lighter bodies? Are you aware if this theory holds…Brandon seems to be an exception…I can think of more receivers and running backs who have had these type of injuries than linemen.
Never been so happy to see a guy walking,
Thanks Doc,
I believe with Brandon's injury, his vertebrae were bruised and misaligned as opposed to broken. I'll have to look into your theory though, to see if it holds true. All in all though, Tuck is truly blessed. The fans around the CFL have shown how much he impacted them as well, which I think is wonderful, and it was just amazing to have the game go like it did with him there.

From Matt:
Hey Mr. Peterson, I saw you on sports center for top 10 plays. That was a nice catch. Anyways see you next year!
Hey Matt,
Glad to have made it all the way down there! How's training going?
Ps - you still owe me an essay.
