From Todd:

I saw you & Jason Tucker talking to Jermaine Jamison last night after his second dropped pass. He seemed to be taking those drops pretty hard, and was pretty hard on himself. Seeing you guys huddled around him made me wonder, though - what does a veteran say to a rookie receiver who has lost his confidence, because he came back later in the game & made a nice grab in coverage. May not save his job with the team, but I would have loved to listen in on that pep talk anyway.

Hey Todd,

Jason and I were just trying to make Jermaine understand that there is nothing that he can do to bring that play back. The longer that the drop stayed in his mind, the less he would be focused on the next ball that came his way. The ability to forget about a bad play like that can make or break a game for a receiver.

Believe me I know!!
