Hey Mr. Peterson, how is your camp going? I have a question. On monday our summer camp/ conditioning starts at Tuscarora, and we'll be traing with the older guys. How do we (the freshman) keep up with the more experienced varsity players? Anyway, i'll be at Justin's watching your first game on friday. Good Luck!
Hey Matt,
I won't be playing in the first pre-season game on Friday, I'll be resting a slight knee strain that I've been playing with the last few days. Aside from that, I've had a good camp, we've got a bunch of really good rookies that we need to bring up to speed that we'll need to play for us this year, so that's been part of the challenge as well. As for you freshmen, don't concern yourself so much with keeping up with the upperclassmen. The most important thing for you guys to do at those camps is to learn the fundamentals of the game, and learn how to practice at a high level. Learn how to play fast, and concentrate on what the coaches are asking you to do. You'll know when it's time to compete, and that's when you turn it up.
