Just wondering what you would have to say to fans who are questioning if your season last year was a fluke. Even using the analogy of "even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while." Good luck this season and Go Esks. You rock Kamau no matter what the doubters say.

I try not to pay people any mind because the truth of the matter is that you just can't please everybody all of the time. I learned when I was in Winnipeg that sometimes no matter what you do on the field or how you are off of it, some people will already have their minds made up about you. Which is fine by me! The way I look at it, unless they have had the opportunity to cover me...they just won't get it. There's a reason that I've been a starter in this league for so long and those who have played with me and against me they understand it. It's that commanded respect that I play for. The popularity contest that comes from trying to be a fan favorite, is just not for me. The fans that support me and recognize what I bring to the table, hold a special place in my heart. Those who would rather wait with baited breath for me to fail...I say don't hold your breath too long, it can be hazardous to your health!
As for you Ryan, I really appreciate the kind words and support. It seems to bother you when people talk about me negatively, and I certainly appreciate that kind of loyalty. Understand the type of person that I am though, nobody feeds off of negativity quite like I do. They say that the best revenge is to live well, and there's not a doubt in my mind that I'll live better this year than the last.

Good to see you doing well as always. My off-season has been one of the best that I can recall. I like the moves that your team (Ticats) has made this off-season as well! I think you guys should be much improved. Definitely come say hello when we come into town!
